With FTE, invest in a solar water heater – turn the sun's energy into lasting savings for a greener future! ☀️

Opt for a solar water heater and turn every ray of sunshine into a source of savings and sustainability!

For users with high domestic hot water needs, such as collective buildings, small hotels, other communities, and small industries, a grouping of individual solar water heaters is chosen to meet their hot water needs, with quantities ranging from approximately 200 to 2000 m³ per day.

A small collective solar installation (< 30 m²) consists of several individual solar water heaters interconnected in pairs, with the total surface area of the collectors remaining below 30 m².

The private businesses involved in small-scale collective solar installations of type C1 or C2 are as follows:

  • Private homes
  • Clinics
  • Small and medium-sized traditional hammams (Moorish baths)
  • Gyms
  • Private businesses (staff housing, employee showers)

To ensure a proper installation of your semi-collective solar water heater in compliance with regulations, require the installer to have their QUALISOL certification granted by ANME. Qualisol is the quality label for solar water heaters marketed in Tunisia and controlled by ANME.

To ensure the quality of your solar water heater, request a warranty certificate and a certificate of conformity for your solar water heater to current standards, provided by nationally and internationally recognized laboratories.

Also, require a final invoice from your supplier detailing the costs of the solar water heater and installation, excluding taxes. The invoice must specify the amount of the subsidy to be deducted from the total cost of the solar water heater.

Before signing your contract, carefully read the warranty conditions offered by your supplier.

Be aware that the warranties applied to solar water heaters acquired under the PROSOL program are only valid if you periodically perform the maintenance operations required by the supplier for their solar water heater:

  • 1-year full warranty on installation and accessories, covered by the supplier.
  • 5-year full warranty on the proper functioning of the solar water heater, provided you enter into a maintenance contract for the 4 years following the first year of installation.
  • 5-year warranty for the storage tank and solar collector.

Also, ask your supplier for a maintenance contract. The maintenance contract is mandatory to benefit from the state-granted subsidies and the warranties offered by the supplier.

Be aware that the prices of maintenance contracts can vary from one supplier to another.
