Energy Transition Fund
Accelerating Tunisia’s energy transition
The Tunisian Energy Transition Fund (FTE) is a special treasury account established to expedite the shift towards a more sustainable energy system in Tunisia. It’s a dedicated financial resource created to encourage investment in energy efficiency and renewable energy and support the creation and promotion of energy sufficient companies, as well as implementing national programs contributing to energy efficiency through participation in the financing of actions and projects and the provision of various sources of financing to cover the costs of investments in energy efficiency in order to achieve the energy transition. By supporting energy efficiency projects and renewable energy initiatives, the Fund is helping to reduce Tunisia’s reliance on fossil fuels and mitigate the impacts of climate change.
